I met Linda for breakfast at La Mesa Bistro & Bakery on La Mesa Blvd. It is a new restaurant in a little strip mall. Everything we've had is really, really good. Richard joined us!

My Very Own Clapotis!

The Clapotis is one of the projects that made me want to knit. I bought the yarn the pattern calls for because I wanted it to be exactly the same. I love it. I just created my fourth drop stitch row.

Highlight of Palm Springs

During a three day trip to Palm Springs during the first week of August, the highlight was taking the aerial tram to the top of the mountain.



The elevation of the upper terminal is 8,516 feet. The distrance traveled is approximately 12,800 ft. with a vertical ascent of 5,873 ft and takes only about 15 minutes.

I was well over 100 degrees in the valley and probably about 70 degrees at the top.
